Biostimulants secure your yields

Biostimulants safeguarding your yields

What is a
biostimulant?

A biostimulant is a substance and/or microorganism used to stimulate natural processes and metabolism in plants to improve their tolerance of abiotic stresses and optimize crop quality and yield.

Biostimulants also facilitate the availability of nutrients, conditionate the rhizosphere and enhance soil microflora activity. In order to answer these needs, Agrauxine has developed the Bionutrition portfolio: a range of products to stimulate biochemical soil processes, improving also the fertilization efficiency.

Biostimulants are not crop protection products and therefore increase plant vigour without directly preventing disease or pests.

Abiotic stresses
minor stresses with major consequences

Abiotic stresses are generated by changes in crops’ environment. Climate variations such as drought, high temperatures, frost, wind and hail have an impact on plant sensitivity :

Reduced evapotranspiration
Less photosynthetic activity
Abortions and impact on yield components

These abiotic symptoms lead to reduced yield.
